Learn! Love! Serve! Laugh! Smile!

I stole this quote from a friend's Facebook page. I just really liked it and felt like sharing it. I feel like these are three things that are very important to me personally. Not to mention this is really good advice. I think everyone should strive to have these things in their lives, because they can most definitely bring happiness, no matter what situation you are in, provided you also try to maintain a positive attitude. :)
How much better is the world that is filled with loving compassionate people serving each other? And education serves to compliment and further these two things. So love to learn, or learn to love learning! (say that five times fast). Practice having more love and compassion for people! Sometimes people (including me) get so caught up in their lives that they forget to look up and enjoy the world they live in and the people who are in it. Notice the people around you. Start with a smile. Say hi to people. Look for ways to help and serve, even if they are small ways. The scriptures say that through small and simple means, great things are come to pass. So even if what you do seems small and simple, you never know what great things may come of it.
Practice being a happy person! People like being around people who are happy, and I know from experience that people who are happy can cause the people around them to be happy too, because happiness and smiles are contagious. Last of all, laugh often. Laughter really is good for the soul, and it's contagious too!
