ABC's, 123's, and really cute things

Posted by Heidi at Monday, May 23, 2011
You want to know what the cutest thing in the world is? The cutest thing is my almost 2 year old nephew calling me today and saying "Hi Aunt Heidi, how are you?" and reciting his abc's and counting from 1 to 10, all in that slow, non-enunciated, cute babyish way that toddlers talk. He always makes me smile so much it makes my face hurt :)

Other cute things are this guest post on the Anti-Austen Blog. I just think this is so darn cute and romantic! I hope something as cool or better will happen to me someday.

Another really cute thing is this video I watch this sometimes when I need a bit of a laugh/awww! moment.

Good things from today: I took a French test at school today and I think I did really good, which is good because we are studying the subjunctive right now. If you don't know what that is, let's just say it's fairly complicated and can easily get mixed up in your brain.

After class I went for a walk on this trail that goes down to this little rocky beach on the Bellingham Bay, and sat and watched the ocean for a little while before walking back home. I love that I live within walking distance of the ocean. I love that the weather is getting warmer so I can go walking comfortably and even wear shorts. I'm glad summer is almost here again. It's my favorite season because (at least in Washington) everything gets some much greener and more colorful. The flowers bloom, the lilacs bloom and smell amazing, and it gets warmer! I'm not really much for cold weather, something I think I will have to accept and get used to when I (hopefully) move to Utah in January.

For dinner I made chicken/yellow pepper/onion kabobs slathered with BBQ sauce. They were YUMMY!!! I should have taken a picture, but I didn't think about it until after I had eaten them all :)

I'll write a pink note in my next post. I'm not going to write it tonight, because it is kind of late right now, and said pink note involves a somewhat long, interesting story. For now I will just say (to get you interested) that it involves a homeless guy and General Conference. Tune in later to find out! TTFN!

First off I would like to say that I think this is a great idea and I can't wait to read more. I was however wondering is it ok for others to post their own pink notes?

I think that is a lovely idea. If you have one you want to post, just let me know. Is this the holly that I know, or someone else?
